Kieron traveled to Milt's home in Plainfield, New Jersey, where the two friends conducted extensive interviews over numerous sessions. From these intimate conversations, Sweeney crafted a narrative that reveals Milt's true greatness—not in the medal itself, but in everything he built after the cheering stopped.
